Invacare Corporation is proud to announce the launch of the new spinal cord injury (SCI) digital community, Roll Revolution.
Roll Revolution is a hub for resources, tips, and tricks to thriving and connecting after a SCI and encompasses SCI patients' first-hand advice and tips as well as clinical, product, and lifestyle tips.
“There are over 12,000 new spinal cord injuries each year,” said Maegen Hurtado, Digital Marketing Manager at Invacare. “By providing resources and education to let patients know they are not alone and that yes they can be as active as they want, we hope to shorten the knowledge acquisition phase during a SCI.”
The Community features a website which releases two new lifestyle blog posts each week and a more robust download as well as a full social suite including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.
“Now, more than ever, people are turning to social media to share stories, get advice, and interact with others who understand them,” said Hurtado. “Roll Revolution is meant to help SCI patients get social about their SCI early on and learn about all the opportunities available to them.”
